Fraser Coast Sewage Pumping Stations SPS96 and SPS97

Wide Bay Water is a business unit of Fraser Coast Regional Council. The Fraser Coast Planning Scheme includes numerous current and future projects which are intended to meet and support the rapidly expanding communities by constructing critical trunk infrastructure prior to any new residential or commercial development.

The SPS96 and SP97 project include the construction of two new sewage pump stations and trunk infrastructure located at critical junctures within the major development areas of the Fraser Coast Region. These pump stations are located in Eli ‐ Sewer Pump Station 96 (SPS 96) and Howard ‐ Sewer Pump Station 97 (SPS 97).

Scope of work included:

SPS96

  • 6m diameter x 10m deep pump station including 2 x 125kw submersible pumps
  • 3 x 3.28m diameter x 12m long emergency storage tank
  • McBerns ZC300 odour control unit
  • 4 x 1.8m diameter x 8m deep sewage manholes
  • 200m of DN450 PVC-U gravity sewer main at 8m deep
  • 200m of DN225 PVC-U rising sewer main
  • Electrical switchboard design, construction, testing and installation
  • Site works including bulk earthworks, access roads, pavements, stormwater, and drainage.

SPS97

  • 2.0m diameter x 8m deep pump station including 2 x 26kw submersible pumps
  • 28m diameter x 12m long emergency storage tank
  • McBerns GM375 odour control unit
  • 4 x 1.05m diameter x 4m deep sewage manholes
  • 60m of DN375 PVC-U gravity sewer main at 4m deep
  • 50m of DN200 PVC-U rising sewer main
  • Electrical switchboard design, construction, testing and installation
  • Site works including bulk earthworks, access roads, pavements, stormwater, and drainage.
